I am a Self taught Canadian artist located in the beautiful Kootenay Rocky Mountains of British Columbia.
Hi, I’m Lyndsy, thank you so much for visiting my page.
I am a small town farm girl, animal enthusiast, art lover, and singer.
I was so blessed to have many farm animals in, and throughout, my life growing up such as horses, dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and donkeys. I always had such a deep love and appreciation for the magnificence of animals, in awe of their anatomies and differences; each one so majestic and amazing in their own way.
As a child my first and favorite animals to draw were horses and orca whales; I would draw them over and over and over again.
I attribute all of my gifts to my mother, whom not only did I inherit my talents, she also was the basis of my inspiration.
Through her I learned skills, was taught the necessary patience, and so much about trust. Trust in yourself, trust in practice, and trust in the process that goes in to creating fine art pencil drawings of animals.
I am so blessed and grateful for all of her contribution to this beautiful path; I can not imagine a better career and I owe it all to her.
Creating beautiful art is truly my souls passion; the sentiment resulting from my custom pet portrait work is SO gratifying, fueling my passion even more.
